FAIRFAX, Va. – The Towson women's swimming and diving program earned three dual meet victories after day two the George Mason POD Meet on Saturday. The Tigers won six events and had 19 top-three finishes on the second day of the meet.
Towson defeated George Mason 219-132 and earned a victory over Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rivals Drexel 227-126 and Northeastern 231-122.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Towson swept the 500-yard freestyle, led by Ashley Illenye (5:00.64). Macey Arnold followed in second-place (5:02.51) and Hannah Snyder in third-place (5:04.06).
- Illenye earned her second event victory in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.28.
- The Tigers impressed in the 400-yard individual medley as Christine Hammond won in the 4:27.06. Snyder finished second with a time of 4:29.51.
- Natalie Obando won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:04.21 while Hammond placed second (2:04.50).
- Arnold won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:52.57.
- Jenna Van Camp won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:18.16. She also came in third-place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.77).
- Charlotte Holz finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (57.39). She placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.30.
- Tara Goss placed third in the 100-yard butterfly (58.79).
- The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Illenye, Holz, Ryan Ulrich and Arnold came in second-place (3:32.75).
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Obando, Van Camp, Goss and Jacy Icard timed 1:47.76 to finished third overall.
- In the diving events, Natalee Szopo finished second with a score of 262.65, followed by Molly Arceri in third-place (249.35).
Towson heads to George Washington for a dual meet on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m.
