Last Time vs. Loyola
The Tigers (3-3) were led by freshman guard Jerome Hairston's 13 points and six rebounds in a 65-53 loss to Loyola at SECU Arena on Nov. 26, 2012. Hairston scored nine of Towson's final 11 points to cut the deficit to as few as 10 in the final four minutes, but the Tigers could not get back to within single digits the rest of the way. Graduate student Bilal Dixon posted six of his eight points in the first half and also grabbed a team-high tying six rebounds. Juniors Jerrelle Benimon and Marcus Damas each tallied seven points with Damas also pulling down six boards.

Battle for Greater Baltimore
Towson moved to 2-0 in the Battle For Greater Baltimore after beating Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) schools, Morgan State (69-61) and Coppin State in overtime (81-77). After battling Loyola tonight, the Tigers will host UMBC on Dec. 23.

Five in Double Figures
Towson put five players in double figures in victories over Gallaudet (Mike Morsell 16 points, Arnaud William Adala Moto 14, Jordan McNeill 14, Timajh Parker-Rivera 13, Byron Hawkins 13) and Sacred Heart (Adala Moto 16, Walter Foster 15, Morsell 11, Parker-Rivera 11, John Davis 10).  It marked the fifth time in the last three seasons Towson had five players score in double figures.

Eric Laster tied his season-high with 17 points for the Greyhounds in the loss to Mount St. Mary's. Chancellor Barnard scored a season-best 13 points, one off his career-high, while Andre Walker had 13 and a team-high eight rebounds. Jarred Jones scored 12 for Loyola. For the season, a balanced Loyola squad has four players averaging double digits in points: Jones (14.6 ppg.), Tyler Hubbard (14.1), Walker (12.0) and Eric Laster (11.4).

Week to Remember
Several Towson players enjoyed career performances last week in victories over Sacred Heart and George Mason. Sophomore guard Mike Morsell scored a career-best 20 points against George Mason. Arnuad William Adala Moto pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds as part of his first Towson and second career double-double in the win over Sacred Heart. Junior Walter Foster tallied a career best 15 points in the win over Sacred Heart while Eddie Keith III dished a career high five assists in the same contest. John Davis sank a pair of 3-pointers, the first time in his career that he has made more than one in a game.

Front Runners
Towson never trailed in its victory over Sacred Heart. It was the second game this season that Towson led wire-to-wire with Bradley being the other. In fact, Towson has been tied or led for the last 62 minutes of game action against George Mason and Sacred Heart.

Up Next
