TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's tennis team will travel to West Virginia University to play the Mountaineers on Friday, Feb. 13. The Tigers will also stay to face California University of Pennsylvania in a neutral site match on Saturday, Feb. 14. Both of the matches are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

"We have been practicing hard this week and really focusing in on some singles strategies," Head Coach
Doug Neagle said. "Now we need to implement these drills and strategies and more importantly, compete harder and want it more. All week we keep saying
why not us?"
The Tigers improved to 4-2 after they shut out University of Maryland Eastern Shore 7-0 and Salisbury 9-0 this past Sunday. Four Tigers earned singles victories in both matches while the doubles pairing of
Renate van Ooorschodt and
Barbora Vasilkova also picked up two wins on the day.

Lucy Williams has been impressive for Towson in her rookie year as she recorded her 10
th singles victory of the season against Salisbury.

Towson will travel next to Georgetown for a mid-week match on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at noon before visiting George Mason on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m.
