TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's gymnastics program will travel to Maryland for a quad meet that features two East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) foes, George Washington and William & Mary, on Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.

Towson is 7-6 after defeating Penn last weekend in its annual alumni meet, 195.175-193.775. The Tigers' team total was the highest since March of 2012.

Freshman
Tyra McKellar led the Tigers, winning three events and setting a new career-high on beam. She earned the first-place finish on floor after tying her career-high (9.900) and picked up a victory on bars (9.875).McKellar finished second overall on beam with a career-high total of 9.825. She finished first in the all-around with a total of 39.150.

Senior
Nicolette Vignola was also impressive, winning vault with a career-high 9.75 and finishing second overall on floor after setting a career-high 9.875.

The Tigers will return home on Friday, Feb. 27 to host a quad meet at 7 p.m. The meet will feature Rutgers, Yale and Michigan State.
