TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's soccer team signed 11 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent (NLI) on Wednesday, Head Coach
Greg Paynter announced.
"We are extremely excited about this large 2015 class," Paynter said. "After a successful 2014 campaign, and the losses of an impactful senior class, we have a lot of holes to fill. I believe the group of student-athletes we have assembled with be able to continue the growth of success we experienced this past season."
The Tiger's 2015 recruiting class features a large concentration of student-athletes from the Mid-Atlantic, with signees extending from Florida to Massachusetts.
"This class is versatile and athletic," Paynter continued. "We have a handful of players that can contribute immediately in a variety of positions. They understand the opportunity presented to them and that they must match the work ethic and level of preparedness that our current student-athletes sustain. Our 2015 preseason begins in exactly six months and I know they will be ready to embrace the challenge of competing for Towson
Women's Soccer."
