TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's gymnastics team will travel to Brown for a tri meet that features Lindenwood on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
 
The Tigers (9-10) recently finished third in their annual Pink Meet on Friday, Feb. 28. Towson recorded a team total of 193.750 points, finishing behind Michigan State (196.275) and Rutgers (194.850) but ahead of Yale (191.875).
 
Towson had two gymnasts tie their career-highs in the meet, led by Vicki Vesecky who earned East Atlantic Gymnastics League Specialist of the Week honors. Vesecky finished second for the Tigers and tied for fifth-overall on bars with a score of 9.825.
 
Noelle Harada also tied her career-high on beam with a 9.775 score. Her score was a team-high for the event and tied for fourth-overall.
 
Other Tigers who had top-five finishes include Tyra McKellar who finished second on bars and fifth in all-around, and Lauren Cahalan who tied for fourth on floor.
 
The host Bears enter this weekend coming off a third-place finish in a tri meet at Texas Woman's University with University of Maryland.
 
Lindenwood recently finished third in their final home meet of the season. The Lions fell to Eastern Michigan and Illinois State and beat Illinois-Chicago.
 
Towson returns home on Friday, March 13 to host George Washington in their final home meet of the season. The Tigers will honor their four seniors following the meet's conclusion and fans are encouraged to wear black to help make the event a "Black Out".
