Adala-Moto Doubles Pleasure In Tough Road Setback at JMU

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Despite William Adala-Moto's third double-double of the season, the Towson University men's basketball team dropped a 73-59 road decision to James Madison in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) men's basketball game at the JMU Convocation Center Saturday afternoon.
 
How It Happened
  • James Madison had 29 free-throw attempts in the second half. Towson attempted 25 for the game.
  • Towson shot 34.6 percent (18-of-52).
  • The Tigers went scoreless for a 7 minute, 52 second stretch that bridged the first and second halves.
  • During that span, JMU scored 13 consecutive points to open a 39-26 lead with 16:38 remaining.
  • Following a basket by Eddie Keith II that pulled Towson to within, 47-40, with 12:20 remaining, the Tigers went 9:55 without a basket.
  • Towson was 2-for-20 from 3-point distance.
