Megan Knoblock set a school record in the 3000m run at George Mason's Father Diamond Invitational on Saturday. The Tigers had 11 top-10 finishes at the meet, held at the George Mason Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED (TRACK EVENTS)- Junior Megan Knoblock finished second in the 3000m run with a time of 10:09.41 to set an indoor school record. The previous record was 10:11.01 set by Elisabeth Tauber in 2014. Knoblock's time was the fourth-fastest in program history for the 3000m run, including both indoor and outdoor.
- Freshman Liz Reid placed sixth in the 400m dash, timing 59.47.
- Junior Zanae Freeland finished ninth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.79. Freshman Rachel Laryea placed 20th-overall, breaking into the Tiger Top-10 for the event with a time of 7.89.
- The Tigers 4x400m relay team of Freeland, Reid, Amanda Famularo and Kelsey Fiddes placed seventh with a time of 4.00.52.

HOW IT HAPPENED (FIELD EVENTS)- Senior Maggie Rampolla was the runner-up in the pole vault with a height of 3.65m, an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) qualifying height. Junior Brynn Warrington finished sixth with a height of 3.35m.
- Senior Wilhelmina Austin finished fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.42m.
- Freshman Naja McAdam placed sixth in the high jump (1.60m) while senior Emerald Vickers followed in eighth-place (1.60m).
- Senior Jader Godsey tied for seventh in the weight throw (13.82m). She also finished 11th in the shot put, throwing a distance of 11.38m.

Megan Knoblock breaking the school record. She is a true testament of hard work paying off. There is never a doubt that she will continue to improve.

Maggie Rampolla was our first ECAC qualifier of the season," Jackson continued. "I'm glad we took advantage of the opportunity and knocked some rust off from the holidays. This will be a great week of practice coming up."

The Tigers continue their indoor season on Tuesday, Jan. 19 as they compete in the Navy Invitational.
