Towson Ready To Tangle With William & Mary

TOWSON, Md. – It's Saturday and lately that's been great news for John Davis and trouble for opponents. The junior forward is looking to keep shining on Saturday's and help the Towson University men's basketball team return to the win column when it hosts William & Mary in a colossal Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) contest.

In his past three Saturday games against Northeastern, Delaware and Elon, Davis has been electric, averaging 17.6 points per game. He scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a road win over Northeastern on Jan. 23. A week later, Davis sank a career-best five 3-pointers and scored a season best 21 points in a thrilling overtime victory over Delaware. Last Saturday in a tense road win at Elon, Davis scored all 12 of his points after intermission.
