TOWSON, Md. – The Towson indoor track and field program completed its regular season with a busy weekend, splitting squads between Fastrack Last Chance Meet on Saturday and the Mason Last Chance Meet on Sunday. The two meets served as a final chance to qualify for the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DI Indoor Championships.
Wilhelmina Austin set an indoor school record and earned a qualifying mark in the triple jump. The Tigers also set a school record in the the distance medley relay, timing 12:14.66.

HOW IT HAPPENED: FASTRACK LAST CHANCE- Zanae Freeland timed 7.70 in the 60m dash finals to finish seventh in the event. Her time was just two hundredths off from the ECAC qualifying mark of 7.68. She also improved a hundredth of a second off her previous time of 7.71 that ranks second in program history.
- In the 200m dash finals, Ariana Waller placed fourth with a time of 25.54.
- Marella continued her impressive night, finishing third in the 3000m run. She set a personal best with a time of 10:04.50. Her time ranked third overall in the Tiger Top 10.
- The distance medley relay team of Abby Gauthier, Megan Kelly, Erica Israel and Megan Knoblock combined for a school record time of 12:14.66. The Tiger relay placed third in the event. The previous school record of 12:42.86 was set in 2009. The previous indoor school record was 12:19.31, set in 2010.
- Wilhelmina Austin finished third in the triple jump with a distance of 11.99m (39'4") to qualify for ECACs. Her distance is the third-farthest in program history and set an indoor school record (previous record: 38'06.25").
- Towson had two in action in the shot put and weight throw. Lauren Coleman (12.05m/39'6.5") placed third while Jader Godsey (11.28m/37'0.25") followed in fourth-place for the shot put. In the weight throw, Godsey was the runner-up (15.50m/50'10.25") while Coleman finished sixth (14.39m/47'2.5"). Godsey's distance in the weight throw just missed out on the qualifying distance for ECACs (16.00m/52'6"). Both weight throw distances rank in the Tiger Top 10 at fourth and ninth, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED: MASON LAST CHANCE- The Tigers had three in action in the 3000m run. Colleen Cook finished third with a personal best time of 10:38.33. Hannah Walter followed in sixth (10:40.16) while Emily Johnson placed ninth (10:42.59), both times were personal bests.
- Naja McAdam had a jump of 1.60m (5'3") in the high jump to finish fourth. Emerald Vickers posted a height of 1.60m (5'3") to tie for seventh-place.
- Maggie Rampolla finished fourth in the pole vault with a height of 3.80m (12'5.5"). She was just five inches off from matching her school record height of 12'6". Courtney Rose followed in sixth-place (3.60m/11'9.75") while Brynn Warrington wrapped up the Tiger competitors in eighth-place (3.60m/11'9.75").
Select Tigers will compete at the ECAC DI Indoor Championships from March 4-6 in Boston, Massachusetts. The outdoor track and field season kicks off with the three-day 49er Classic from March 17-19 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
