TOWSON, Md. - The Towson gymnastics program travels to the University of New Hampshire for a quad meet on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. The meet will also feature Bridgeport and Brown and take place in the Lundholm Gymnasium.

The Tigers are coming off a second-place finish at the Michigan State Quad Meet last weekend. The Tigers recorded a season-best 193.800 team total and set season-highs on vault (48.475) and floor (48.625).

Sophomore
Tyra McKellar led the Tiger effort, winning the uneven bars and finishing second on the balance beam and in the all-around. McKellar is tied for third among East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) competitors this season on uneven bars and ranked 11th in the all-around.

The University of New Hampshire won the Don Tonry Bulldog Invitational last weekend, defeating Bridgeport, Southern Connecticut State and the host Yale.
Danielle Doolin earned EAGL Rookie of the Week honors for the third week in a row for her performance at that meet. She ranks ninth among all-around competitors in the league.

Bridgeport defeated Cornell 194.175 to 192.225 last weekend. The Purple Knights won three of the four events for a season-high team total. Ajiea Hargrave took first place on vault and finished third for the floor exercise.Â

Brown won its third straight quad meet with a season-high 192.575 last weekend, defeating Southern Connecticut State, SUNY Cortland and host Springfield.
Corey Holman earned Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Specialist of the Week honors after winning the vault title. She finished tied for third-place on the balance beam as well.
