CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Towson swimming program concluded action with day three of the Carolina Collegiate Invitational, hosted by UNC. The Tigers had eight qualify for the evening's finals.

HOW IT HAPPENED (WOMEN'S)- Haley Sutton placed fifth in the 200-yard backstroke finals with a time of 2:04.20. Zeynep Balto followed in eighth-place with a time of 2:11.64.
- Ali Holm earned an 11th-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke finals, timing 2:29.62.
- The Tigers had four in action in the 200-yard butterfly finals. Grace Hansen placed sixth (2:08.02) followed by Emily Rezac in seventh (2:08.09). Also in action was Tasha Reidenbach (10th, 2:10.89) and Cami Andreini (11th, 2:11.04).
- In the morning preliminaries, Rhyann Lowrey finished 19th in the 100-yard freestyle (54.06) followed by Danielle Clark (20th, 54.74).

HOW IT HAPPENED (MEN'S)- Sean Patterson finished sixth in the 200-yard backstroke finals, timing 1:56.16.Â
- Aaron Magazine placed 20th in the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries with a time of 49.47.

Towson begins its postseason action with the two-day CAA Diving Championships which take place from Feb. 20-21 at Delaware's Rawstrom Natatorium. The CAA Swimming Championships will be held on Feb. 24-27 at the Collegiate School Aquatics Center in Richmond, Virginia.
