BOSTON, Mass. – The Towson women's track and field program set two school records on day one of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) DI Indoor Championships on Saturday. Six of the eight Tigers who qualified for the postseason meet were in action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Maggie Rampolla finished second overall in the pole vault, setting an indoor school record with a height of 3.85m (12'7.5"). She improved on her own school record of 12'6" set in 2015.
Courtney Rose and
Brynn Warrington both tied for 11th overall, vaulting 3.60m (11'9.75).
Allison Marella set an indoor school record in the 5000m run, timing 16:48.13 to finish eighth overall. She drastically improved on her previous school record of 17:16.10, set on Feb. 13. Marella has now set the 5000m indoor school record three times this season.
In the 200m dash preliminaries,
Zanae Freeland just missed qualifying for tomorrow's finals. She finished in 14th-place with a time of 24.68.
Liz Reid timed 57.01 in the 400m dash preliminaries for a 37th-place finish.
