Track & Field Wraps Up Indoor ECAC Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – The Towson women's indoor track and field program had two in action on the final day of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) DI Indoor Championships on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Megan Knoblock placed 24th the 3000m run, timing 10:02.83.
  • Austin Wilhelmina finished 14th in the triple jump with a height of 11.57m (37'11.50").
  • The Tigers had six of their eight qualifiers in action on day one. Maggie Rampolla set a school record in the pole vault while Allison Marella ran a school record time in the 5000m run.
  • Out of 44 total teams with competitors, the Tigers finished in 29th-place.

  • The outdoor track and field season kicks off with the three-day 49er Classic from March 17-19 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
