TOWSON, Md. – The race for the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament heats up this weekend as Towson welcomes the College of Charleston to Schuerholz Park for a three-game series April 29-May 1. The series will get underway Friday at 3 p.m., and continue with a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

Richie Palacios is chasing down the Towson freshman single-season hits record. He currently has 60 hits, and is tied for fourth with
Mark Grunberg (2015). Nick Agoglia (1997) holds the record with 66 hits, followed by Brian McKenna (2001) with 63 and Steve Farling (1991) with 62. Palacios already holds the single-season record with 30 stolen bases.
