White was among 10 finalists selected at the end of March, narrowed down from a pool of 20 that was announced in early March. The Senior CLASS Award had a fan vote, which accounted for one-third of the final vote, while the remaining two-thirds were decided by head coaches and members of the lacrosse media.

In the classroom, White finished his Black & Gold career with a 3.215 grade point average as a sports management major at Towson University, including over a 3.0 GPA in the fall of 2015.His GPA was part of a team grade point average of over 3.0, the team's goal for each semester.

The redshirt senior has been a huge part of the Tigers' community service efforts during his time at Towson. This season, he was key in helping the men's lacrosse team in raising nearly $10,000 for HEADstrong Foundation's Mustache Madness, collecting over $400 individually. Earlier in the fall, White joined pink T-shirt-clad teammates in nearby Hunt Valley, Maryland for the 2015 Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure 5k. Having lost his mother to breast cancer while he was in high school, it's a cause close to his heart, while the team's late academic advisor, Bobbi Madison, also passed away from breast cancer a few years ago. White was a coordinator for the program in running the Race for a Cure, as well as the "Pink PAWS" effort on campus.

In the fall of 2014, White also coordinated the team's efforts in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run, hosted at Towson. Other community service endeavors include the Best Buddies 5k, working at the athletic department's blood drive for the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Blood Challenge and volunteering with Charm City Youth Lacrosse in Baltimore and the Relay for Life. During the summer of 2015, White and several teammates participated in the 24-hour Shootout For Soldiers game at the nearby McDonough School.

White, who hails from Elmira Heights, New York, graduated as one of the program's top goaltenders. He finished his career with a 36-16 record, the most wins ever by a goalie in the CAA since the league added men's lacrosse in 2001. White's career goals against average of 7.93 is second all-time at Towson, while his 477 saves are good enough for ninth in program history. White played in 3,050 minutes during his time with the Black & Gold, surrendering just 403 goals. He allowed just 127 opponent tallies this season, the fewest in a single season in his career, despite playing in all 19 games and 1,105 minutes, both career highs.

During his final campaign, White had a goals against average of just 6.89, breaking his own single-season record from last year (7.57). The Corning East High School product had one goal during his time with the Tigers, potting a full-field shot at the end of regulation on April 23, 2016 against Fairfield during the Tigers' 18-11 win on Senior Day. The CAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, White earned a place on the league's Second Team in 2016. He also earned weekly honors as the NCAA Defensive Player of the Week and CAA Player of the Week.
