Late-Night Snacking: Is it Taboo?

Whether it's a late practice, late-night studying, or maybe you just had to rewatch that episode of Game of Thrones. Whatever the occasion, sometimes late night snacking is necessary.

Late night snacking sounds like a taboo, but it doesn't have to be! You may have heard night snacking causes fat gain or disturbs sleep, however the evidence in inconclusive. Treat your night snacks like you would any other healthy snack during the day; make sure it consists of carbohydrate and protein.

Some good examples could be: yogurt and fruit; a smoothie; berries and pretzels; banana and peanut butter; fruit and cheese; cheese and crackers; nuts and berries.
