ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Despite winning six events, the Towson University women's swimming and diving program split its duals at Navy's tri-meet with Johns Hopkins on Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers earned 194-93 win over the Blue Jays and fell 168-131 to the host Mids.
The Tigers won six events and recorded 29 top-five performances at the meet.
Jacy Icard led the Tigers' performance, winning two events and finishing as the runner-up in two events.

How it Happened
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Jacy Icard, Kalyn Fetter, Kendall Krumenacker and Caitlin Manthe combined for a first-place time of 1:48.80. Olivia Evans, Amanda Rosa, Maddi Mangum and Corie Morton finished fifth (1:50.60).
- Towson's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Caitlin Manthe, Annemarie Schnoor, Melissa Toy and Jacy Icard finished second (1:37.61).
- The Tigers took the top two spots in the 100-yard butterfly. Maddi Mangum won the event in 57.28 and Kendall Krumenacker placed second (57.39).
- Jacy Icard was the top finisher in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.50. Olivia Evans timed 59.59 to follow in fifth-place.
- In the 1,000-yard freestyle, Meghan Jones timed 10:20.20 for a first-place finish. Danielle Clark followed in fourth-place, timing 10:35.31.
- Jacy Icard placed second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:03.98.
- Amanda Rosa was the runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke, timing 1:06.42. Jacalyn Schoening took fifth-place with a time of 1:07.44.
- Towson had two top-three finishers in the 200-yard butterfly. Megan Cowan timed a season-best 2:07.01 to finish second. Sarah-Margaret Locke followed in third-place (2:07.23).
- Caitlin Manthe took second in the 50-yard freestyle (24.31) while Melissa Toy placed fourth (24.52).
- Amanda Rosa finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:24.47).
- Corie Morton timed 5:02.21 in the 500-yard freestyle for a third-place finish. Meghan Jones followed in fourth-place (5:03.51).
- Kendall Krumenacker was the fourth-place finisher in the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.04) while Ashley Illenye finished fifth (2:10.37).
- Corie Morton placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best 1:54.82.
- Melissa Toy was the Tigers' top finisher in the 100-yard freestyle, placing sixth (52.79).
- On the one-meter boards, Emily Wilson the event with a season-best score of 256.88. Ali Profeta also recorded a season-best 234.38 to place third. Victoria Zozzaro placed fourth (231.98).
- Wilson also won the three-meter diving boards with a score of 266.70. Victoria Zozzaro recorded a season-best 252.38 for a second-place finish. Emilee Torres placed fourth (219.15).
