Tigers Explode for a 95-64 Win over UMBC in Front of a Record Crowd

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team exploded for a 95-64 win over UMBC before a record crowd of 3,100 on STEM Day. The Tigers presented head coach Diane Richardson with her first collegiate coaching victory by posting the second most single-game points in program history.

Richardson and the Tigers were joined by local elementary and middle school students as Towson presented its fifth annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Day. The school children in attendance helped set the school record for attendance at a women's game and ranks as the ninth biggest attendance for a Towson basketball game in SECU Arena.
