TOWSON, Md. - Towson University defensive back

How it Happened

- Towson started the third quarter by going on a 17-play drive. The drive was mainly done on the ground as 11 of the plays were rushing plays.
- The drive would stall at the VU 10 yard line and Aidan O'Neill would kick a 27-yard field goal.
- The Wildcats regained the lead on their next series as a big kickoff return set up a 46-yard field goal off the leg of Drew Kresge.
- With the Tigers trailing by one early in the fourth quarter, Keon Paye intercepted a pass deep in his own territory.
- Unfortunately, the Tigers fumbled on the next play and the Wildcats were able to score a touchdown.
- Later on in the quarter, the Tigers once again turned the ball over deep in their own territory and VU was again able to capitalize with a touchdown.
