New Blue Autism Uniforms Has Towson Pumped For Northeastern

TOWSON, Md. –The Towson University men's basketball team received a nice post-practice treat as it prepared to begin a three-game homestand against Northeastern in a key Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) contest.

The Tigers unveiled their special blue uniforms they will wear during the game against the Huskies. The players were delighted to see the light blue jerseys with the black Towson letters and black numbers outlined in white. The numbers and school name were stitched onto the uniforms. There was also a colorful ribbon with puzzle pieces in various colors on the left chest.

The uniforms were designed by Under Armour and also feature a black and white stripe on the left side of the jersey. The team will also be wearing blue shoes and special white socks with the autism ribbon on them. The blue uniforms will be the fifth different uniform worn by Towson this season.  They have already worn white, black, gray, and gold uniforms.

This game is special and personal for Skerry, who's 8 year-old son Owen is on the autism spectrum.
