TOWSON, Md. - Towson women's lacrosse head coach
Sonia LaMonica announced on Tuesday that the team has rescheduled its game with Oregon while moving its game at Yale a day earlier.
The Tigers will now host Oregon on Monday, March 26 at 6 p.m., inside Unitas Stadium before traveling to New Haven, Connecticut four days later to take on Yale on Friday, March 30 at 4 p.m. The game at Yale will be broadcast live on the Ivy League Network.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, March 3, Towson and Oregon postponed its meeting from earlier this season due to the strong winds associated with Winter Storm Riley which prevented the Ducks' flight into Baltimore. The game was able to be rescheduled as Oregon returns to the East Coast for games at Vanderbilt (March 28) and East Carolina (April 1).
The Tigers have won the previous two meetings against the Ducks, both coming under LaMonica, after a 16-5 win on Feb. 21, 2012 and a 10-7 victory on Mar. 25, 2017, both of which came at Unitas Stadium.
As for Yale, Towson has not played the Bulldogs since a 1-0 victory during the 1979 season.
