TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team has been recognized in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) academic awards, highlighted by the program being honored as an IWLCA Academic Squad
To qualify as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must have earned a 3.2 or higher grade point average (GPA) for the academic year. Towson has earned an Academic Honor Squad honor each year the award has been announced since 2014.
In addition, eight student-athletes were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, student-athletes of junior or higher standings must have a cumulative academic GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Shannon Sullivan and
Milana Zizakovic were all placed on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for 2025. Koras, McCormick and Sullivan earn this award for the second straight season.
IWLCA are nominated by coaching staffs and academic advisors and confirmed by the organization.
