TOWSON, Md. - The Towson University women's lacrosse team has been honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), receiving individual and squad recognition in the organization's athletic awards.
To qualify as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must have earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher for the academic year. Towson has earned this honor each year since the award has been announced since 2014.
Nine student athletes were additionally named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To qualify, student athletes of junior or higher standings must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Emma Baker, Acacia Connor, Ocea Leavy, Hannah Lewis, Sienna Parekh, Kylie Ritter, Katie Roszko, Elise Smigiel and Hailey Waldron were named to the IWCLA Academic Honor Roll for 2026. Baker and Leavy received the recognition for the second consecutive year, while Smigiel collected the accolade for the third straight season.
