COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Towson University women's track and field sophomore Aniyah Allen finished first in the 100-meter hurdles and third in the high jump to highlight the Tigers participation at the Maryland Invitational Saturday.

Allen won the hurdles in a time of 14.58 seconds and finished third in the high jump with a mark of 5-4.25.

How It Happened

• Freshman Alina Nagornyuk finished fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 9-0.25.
• Freshman Maria Bravo placed sixth in the discus with a throw of 117-0 and eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 127-2.
• Junior Naja McAdam and sophomore Brittney Nguetta each finished seventh in the high jump at 5-0.25.
• McAdam was 10th in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.16 seconds.
• Freshman Vanneshja Hill-Edwards was 11th in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.32 seconds.
• Junior Druex Collins was 11th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.04.
• Freshman Jessica Manuel was 11th in the hammer throw and 16th in the shot put.
• Freshman Nyah Wilkinson was 13th in the javelin.
