Richard Miller delivered two home runs and drove in five runs as the Tigers defeated Copping State, 9-4, Wednesday afternoon at Schuerholz Park. The win is the third in a row for TU.

- Coppin State got on the board in the third inning as Carlos Alvarez singled and came around to score on a wild pitch.
- The Tigers quickly gained the lead in the home-half of the inning as Tristan Howerton and Mark Grunberg singled to start the inning and scored on Richie Palacios double into the right-field corner. Billy Lennox scored Palacios with a single to left center.
- The Eagles regained the lead in the fourth as a bases-loaded walk was followed by a two-run single from Nazier McIlwain.
- Richard Miller delivered a two-run blast to right field in the fifth to give the Tigers the 5-4 lead. The homer came with two outs and followed a Dirk Masters walk.
- Towson added to its lead in the sixth as Palacios ripped a double to right center and was able to hustle all the way around to score when the ball was misplayed.
- Colin Gimblet singled and Billy Lennox walked to set up Miller for his second two-out home run of the day. This time it was a three-run blast to right.
- Josh Seils made the lead hold up as he allowed three hits over three shutout innings.
- Matt Watters pitched a scoreless ninth to close out the game.
