TOWSON, Md. – Below-freezing temperatures welcomed back the Towson University women's lacrosse team into Johnny Unitas ® Stadium this week as the team began spring practice. The 2019 season begins in 19 days on Feb. 9 at Penn State at 2 p.m.
 
The first week back kicked off with breakfast and a team meeting on Monday morning, as head coach Sonioa LaMonica greeted her ninth Tiger team.
 
Tuesday the team completed its annual run test before practice began. Throughout the week the squad will lift and practice, with film sessions added in. With classes starting next week the student-athletes will also meet with their academic advisor to prepare.
 
Season and single game tickets are on sale for the 2019 home games, Towson hosts eight opponents at Johnny Unitas ® Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at TowsonTigers.com in advance.
