WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Towson University gymnastics' team defeated William & Mary Saturday afternoon inside Kaplan Arena. The Tigers scored 194.075-192.975 over the Tribe.
Emerson Hurst won first-place on vault (9.775) while
Ally Wesoly finished in second-place with a score of 9.750.
How it Happened
- Mary Elle Arduino won on the balance beam with a score of 9.875. Hurst tied for second (9.850).
- Wesoly finished in fourth on beam (9.800).
- Cortni Baker tied for fourth-place on vault (9.650). Teammate Leah Smith came in sixth (9.600) and Nikki Borkowski came in seventh (9.575).
- Baker, Wesoly and Smith all tied for third-place on the uneven parallel bars (9.725).
- Ardunio tied for sixth-place on bars (9.700), Brittney Ranti came in eighth (9.650) and Tess Zientek finished in 11th (8.500).
- Baker finished in third-place with her floor routine scoring 9.750.
- Ardunio tied for fourth-place (9.725). Hurst tied for sixth-place (9.700), Wesoly came in eighth (9.650) and Borkowski tied for ninth-place (9.625).
Up Next
The Tigers are back home in SECU Arena on Feb. 3 to face West Chester University. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
