Towson Athletics Celebrates Induction of 2019 Hall of Fame Class

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. – Last Friday, the Towson University athletic department officially inducted its newest members of the Class of 2019 into the Hall of Fame at the annual dinner, hosted by the Tiger Athletic Fund.

With the announcement back in May, the Class of 2019 spoke to the guests of the Hall of Fame dinner as the newest inductees: Karen Maisenhalder, Gary Neal, Kelly Robinson, Jamal White, Shannon Witzel and the 2001 Men's Lacrosse Team.

The 2019 Hall of Fame dinner was held at the Valley Mansion in Cockeysville.  Two hundred and sixty-five people were in attendance, a new record for the event, including Towson President Dr. Kim Schatzel and 14 other Towson Athletics Hall of Fame members.  Towson President Schatzel, Hall of Fame President Rich Bader, master of ceremonies Spiro Morekas, the five individual Hall of Fame inductees and four members of the 2001 Towson men's lacrosse team spoke to the attendees at the dinner.

A photo gallery is available via the above link, including pictures of all the inductees, sights from the dinner including an ice sculpture, group shots and much more.

Those looking to nominate for the 2020 Towson Athletics Hall of Fame Class can fill out this form and return to the athletics media relations office.
