FloSports Broadcast Team Features Harris, Feinstein & Davis

TOWSON, Md. – Veteran broadcaster and Towson University alum Brent Harris will be behind the microphone this season for seven Towson men's basketball games. He will team with former Towson standout John Davis and respected author John Feinstein to call games during the 2019-20 season.

In May, the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) announced a four-year partnership with FloSports to provide live and on-demand coverage for the league's sports, highlighted by extensive coverage of the conference's football and basketball programs.

Harris and Davis will begin the broadcast package by calling Towson's season opener against George Washington on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Harris and Feinstein have called Towson basketball games in the past for NBC Sports Washington. Harris will provide play-by-play duties for all seven games while Feinstein will do color commentary for the Kent State (Monday, Nov. 11), Northeastern (Saturday, Dec. 28), James Madison (Saturday, Jan. 18) and the College of Charleston (Saturday, Feb. 1) games.

In addition to the George Washington game, Davis will provide color for games against Hofstra (Monday, Dec. 30) and Delaware (Saturday, Jan. 11).

Harris has years of experience calling CAA football and basketball games.  Currently, he hosts the Baltimore Ravens postgame show on 105.7 and works for Monumental Sports calling games. He had a 13 year career at NBC Sports Washington and spent time at WBFF-TV in Baltimore. Harris has won four Emmy awards during his distinguished career.

"As a proud Towson alum, I'm excited for the opportunity to again call Towson Tiger basketball games this year," Harris said. "(Towson head coach Pat) Skerry has a tremendous team, and it'll be fun seeing the season unfold up-close."

Feinstein is an author of 41 books, including the two best-selling sports books of all time: "A Season on The Brink," and "A Good Walk Spoiled," both No. 1 New York Times bestsellers. In addition to his books, he also works for The Washington Post, Golf Digest, Sirius XM, CBS Sports Radio and Comcast Sportsnet. He has been inducted into The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame; The National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Hall of Fame; The U.S. Basketball Writer's Hall of Fame and the Greater D.C. Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.

"I'm really happy to have the chance to do Towson basketball games on TV this season," Feinstein said. "I've followed the progress of Pat Skerry's program since he first got to the school and enjoyed watching him completely turn things around and build a solid program. His teams are fun to watch and Pat's always a joy to deal with. I can't wait to get back to SECU Arena and be reunited with my old partner Brent Harris. It's going to be a lot of fun."

As part of the winningest four-year run in Towson's Division I era, Davis experienced more college Division I victories than any player in school history with 77. He finished his fantastic career by scoring in double figures 56 times and posting 23 double-doubles.

A two-time All-CAA performer, Davis finished his career with 1,117 career points (20th all-time in program history) and 713 rebounds (seventh in program history). He is one of six men's basketball players in program history to have scored 1,000 career points and finish with at least 700 rebounds.

"I am really excited to see the growth of the program that helped me grow as a man and a player," Davis said. "I am looking forward to being in a place I call 'home."
