TOWSON, Md. -- Towson will participate in the third annual Baltimore Basketball Media Day on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The event takes place inside Coppin State's Physical Education Complex from 12 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
All seven of the men's and women's NCAA Division I institutions located within an hour's drive of Coppin State are scheduled to be in attendance, including: Morgan State, Towson, Loyola, Mount St. Mary's, Navy and UMBC.
The Greater Baltimore Basketball Media Day will be hosted by Rob Long from CBS Radio. The event begins with a welcome, followed by brief introductions of each of the head coaches for a few words about their programs and concludes with a discussion on the state of local basketball.
Media availability for head coaches and student-athletes in attendance takes place until the conclusion of the event.
Towson's student-athletes that are confirmed for Tuesday's event are seniors

Towson begins its season against George Washington at SECU Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. It's the second half of a women's-men's doubleheader. The Towson women host Penn State at 4 p.m.
