CLEARWATER, Fl. – The Towson University softball team split a pair of one-run games during the opening day of the Michelle Smith Pediatric Cancer Spring Invitational hosted by the University of South Florida.
Madison Wilson hit a walkoff double to give Towson a thrilling, 6-5 win over Providence in the first game. The Tigers dropped a 1-0 decision to North Dakota State in the second game.
Towson's record is 10-8 overall with three more games scheduled for this weekend.
