TOWSON, Md. – With an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, the Towson University women's basketball team will host a selection show watch party in the Minnegan Room at the Johnny Unitas ® Stadium Field House.
 
The watch party begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be open to the media as the 2019 women's basketball tournament bracket is released. All Towson fans are invited to attend. At 7 p.m. the bracket will be unveiled on ESPN. All 64 teams will be announced with the first round of the tournament beginning Friday, March 22.
 
This will be Towson's first appearance in the big dance in program history after winning the first ever CAA Championship in women's basketball. The CAA crown comes on the heels of the Tigers winning 20 games for the first time since the 2007-08 season. Towson defeated No. 5 seeded Delaware, No. 9 seeded Hofstra and No. 2 seeded Drexel to earn the title.
