TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University tennis head coach Jamie Peterson was selected by the Mid-Atlantic division of the United States Professional Tennis Association as its College Coach of the Year.

The honor comes during Peterson's second year at the helm. His squad has 11 games left in the regular season.

The Tigers head out for two more road games to cap the week, traveling to face California (Pa.) and West Virginia this weekend. Towson is coming off a 6-1 win over Mount Saint Mary's on Wednesday night.

In the last meeting with the Vulcans, the Tigers took a 7-0 win. Cal U enters the week to face the Tigers in its first spring match. The Vulcans will then face West Virginia as well.
