Jack Saunderson from the Towson University men's swimming and diving team placed 15th in the 100-yard butterfly finals in day two of the NCAA Championships.
Saunderson swam a time of 45.64 to finish first in his heat of the preliminaries earlier in the day. After finishing the day with a time of 46.02 in the consolation finals coming in seventh and 15th overall in the event he received NCAA All-Honorable Mention.
Saunderson will finish up with the 200-yard butterfly tomorrow, March 30 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Preliminaries for the event will begin at 11 a.m. and the top 16 from the preliminaries will advance to the finals at 7 p.m.
