TOWSON, Md. - Towson University softball team fell 6-0 in extra innings to 20th-ranked James Madison Sunday afternoon in the Tigers Softball Stadium.

Sara Johnson kept the Dukes scoreless through eight innings.

- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Abrahamian pitched 4.2 innings for the Tigers.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Sara Johnson entered in the fifth inning and pitched out of a two-out bases loaded jam in the fifth inning by retiring Taylor Newton on a 3-2 pitch.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Breanna McDowell had Towson's first hit for the second straight game.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Both of McDowell's hits came with two outs in the fifth inning.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Julia Smith-Harrington hit a two-out double in the bottom of the seventh inning.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Chloe Poulich battled JMU pitcher Megan Good for 11 pitches, fouling off several of them.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Sara Johnson had four strikeouts in 3.2 innings to raise her season total to a team-leading 76.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Through eight innings, Towson's pitching held JMU to 2-for-17 with runners on base.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Dukes were 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position in the first eight innings.
