Quotable- Towson Head Coach Katherine Vettori
- "I am pleased with the performance of the team today. We tried to play and possess the ball and attack with speed. The back-line as well as goalkeeper, Lindsey Pazdziorko, remained composed and organized. Our midfield worked relentlessly on both sides of the ball. We created a lot of chances offensively. Now, we need to be more precise in the box with final balls and shots. It is very exciting that Demi Pierre netted her first two collegiate goals. We will be back to work tomorrow to prepare for a quality opponent in Penn at their place."
Up Next for Towson
- The Tigers travel to Philadelphia for the first road contest of the season.
- Towson will play Penn on Monday, Sept. 2 at Rhodes Field.
- The game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
