Towson Falls to Northeastern

BOSTON – As conference play begins,Towson University women's soccer team fell 6-0 at Northeastern Thursday afternoon.

Towson (3-6-1, 0-1-0 CAA) had five shots on goal during the first half but five different sources scored for Northeastern (4-6-0, 1-0-0 CAA).

How it Happened
  • Northeastern scored three quick goals ten minutes into the game.
  • Tatiana Ortega received a pass from Mikenna McManus to score the first goal for the Huskies.
  • Christiana Davey attempted a shot but Megan Adams had the save.
  • A header by Olivia Ware gave the Huskies a 2-0 lead.
  • After a Huskie corner kick, Ortega scored the third goal.
  • Camryn Anderson, Jenna Blank, Lexi Littlefield all attempted shots after Monica Scaglione kicked a corner.
  • A corner for the Huskies led to a goal by Chelsea Domond and a 4-0 lead.
