BOX SCORE BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Friday afternoon the Towson University field hockey team fell in a 4-1 final at Lehigh.

Georgia Beachley.
Towson continues the weekend on the road at Colgate on Sunday at 1 p.m.
How it Happened
- The road team recorded the first offensive statistic of the day, a shot from sophomore Kasey Bubel.
- The Mountain Hawks responded with a shot in the fifth minute and a goal two minutes later.
- Neither team saw the back of the net in the second quarter, both set up for penalty corners with the Tigers earning the corner in the 28th minute.
- Entering the halftime, Lehigh led 1-0.
- Opening the second half, the Mountain Hawks scored in the first minute, extending their lead to 2-0.
- Three minutes later, Lehigh scored again. With one minute left in the fourth, the home team put another one in took a 4-0 advantage.
- Entering the fourth quarter, the Mountain Hawks had the first offensive move with a penalty corner.
- Just one minute later, the Tigers had room and momentum and freshman Samantha Aljets brought it home for the road team.
- Assisted by fellow freshman Georgia Beachley, the rookies combined for Towson's first score of the season.
- Neither team saw the back of the net in the final eight minutes of action as the Mountain Hawks held on for the win.
