RALEIGH, N.C.- The Towson University gymnastics team suffered its first loss of the season after falling 195.650-193.975 to NC State Saturday evening inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum.
The Tigers earned their final score after having a 48.600 on vault, 48.250 on bars, 48.550 on beam and 48.575 on floor.
Ally Wesoly competed in the all-around finishing with a final score of 38.925.
How it Happened
- Emerson Hurst tied for third on vault with a 9.775 score. Nikki Borkowski finished in fifth with a 9.750.
- Wesoly ended in a four-way tie for third place on bars scoring a season-high 9.800. Tess Zientek earned a 9.725.
- Lauren Bolen tied for second place on the balance beam with a 9.775.
- Hurst had a season-high on floor with a 9.800 finishing in third. Melissa Temkov came in fourth with a 9.775.
- Competing for her first time this year in the all-around, Wesloy finished in third after having scores of (9.675-vault), (9.800-bars), (9.725-beam) and (9.725-floor) totaling to the 38.925.

Towson is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 1 competing against University of New Hampshire. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. inside Lundholm Gymnasium.
