TOWSON, Md. – Towson University gymnastics team is back on the road this weekend for a dual meet against the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, Feb. 1.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. inside Lundholm Gym.

Last Time Out
Towson posted its highest road score of the season and highest regular season score against NC State since 2017 last Saturday, Jan. 25. The Tigers posted a score of 193.975 and NC State scored 195.650.
The Tigers earned their final score after having a 48.600 on vault, 48.250 on bars, 48.550 on beam and 48.575 on floor.
Ally Wesoly competed in the all-around finishing with a final score of 38.925.
Emerson Hurst had a season-high on floor with a 9.800 finishing in third. Competing for her first time this year in the all-around, Wesloy finished in third after having scores of (9.675-vault), (9.800-bars), (9.725-beam) and (9.725-floor) totaling to the 38.925.
Scouting the Wildcats
UNH posted a second-place finish in a tri-meet last Sunday, Jan. 26. Alyssa Worthington scored a career-high 9.900 on balance beam to win that event, and the UNH gymnastics team improved its score for the fourth straight meet with a season-high 195.125 to defeat Temple (191.925) and finish runner-up to host West Virginia (196.025).
Conference Rankings
- Ally Wesoly is ranked third in conference in the all-around with an average and high score of 38.925. She is also ranked 17th on vault (9.725 avg., 9.750 high), tied for seventh on bars (9.758 avg., 9.800 high) and tied 19th on floor (9.725 avg., 9.725).
- Lauren Bolen is ranked fifth in the all-around with an average score of 38.600 and high score of 38.825. She is tied 19th on vault (9.717 avg., 9.750 high) and 20th on bars (9.692 avg., 9.775 high).
- Amy Stewart is ranked sixth on bars with an average score of 9.762 and a 9.825 high.
- Emerson Hurst is sixth on floor with an average and high score of 9.800. She is ranked 15th on beam with an average score of 9.717 and a high of 9.725. She is 23rd on vault with an average score of 9.700 and 9.775 high.
- Tess Zientek is ranked 12th on bars with an average score of 9.733 and a 9.775 high.
- Nikki Borkowski is tied 19th on vault with an average score of 9.717 and a 9.750 high.
- Camille Vitoff is also tied for 19th on vault with the same average as her teammates Bolen and Borkowski. Vitoff is also ranked 23rd on bars with an average score of 9.625 and a high score of 9.800.
- Paige Casper is ranked 19th on floor (9.725 avg., 9.775 high).
- Kyla Gamble is ranked 20th on bars with an average and high score of 9.650.
- Melissa Temkov is ranked 19th on beam with an average score of 9.692 and a high score of 9.775.
Tigers in the Community
The Towson University athletics department deems community service as one of its highest priorities to give back to the Greater Baltimore area.
- For the 7th consecutive year, the department exceeded 10,000 hours of community service to the Greater Baltimore region, finishing with 11,162 hours of community service in the 2018-19 academic season.
- Towson ranked #1 nationally for community service and won the 2018 National Championship for Community Service through the Helper Helper NCAA Team Works Competition.
- Towson had a 97% participation rate, attended 118 community service opportunities and volunteered with 19 organizations.
- Towson won the 2018 Volunteer of the Year Award from Susan G. Komen of Maryland.
