TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University football team continues to earn strong marks in the classroom with 37 players landing on the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Football Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2019 semester.
To be eligible, student-athletes need at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average through the fall semester.
In total, 439 student-athletes across the 12 CAA football member schools were named to the CAA Football Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for Fall 2019. The CAA released the honor roll on Tuesday.
In 2019, Towson earned its second winning season in a row, notching seven victories and being national ranked all season long. The Tigers earned wins over four teams that were either ranked or receiving votes at the time of the game.
