MORGANTOWN, WV. – The highest team beam score highlighted the afternoon for the Towson University gymnastics team Sunday afternoon during a quad-meet against West Virginia, Western Michigan and Bowling Green.
Towson opened up the day inside WVU Coliseum on floor and earned a running score of 48.200. Then the Tigers moved to vault and finished with a 48.550, next was bars (47.850) and last was beam (48.825). The Tigers finished in fourth place with a final team score of 193.425.
Host school, West Virginia finished in first with 196.000, then Western Michigan (195.075) and Bowling Green scored 193.425.
How it Happened
- Camille Vitoff tied for third-place on vault with a 9.800, also tying her season-high. Ally Wesoly tied for sixth-place with a new season-high score of 9.7750.
- Tying her season-high on bars, Wesoly tied for second place with a 9.8000. Tess Zientek finished in ninth with a 9.7500.
- Wesoly also had a season-high on beam tying for third place with a 9.850. Vitoff also had a season-high 9.7750. Jenna Weitz scored a season-high 9.750 and Melissa Temkov tied her season-high scoring 9.7500 also.
- Paige Casper had a top ten finish on floor scoring a 9.750.
- Wesoly captured second in the all-around with a final score and new season-high of 39.150.

Towson will participate in another quad-meet on Saturday, Feb. 29 in University Park, Pennsylvania.
The Tigers will compete against Cornell, North Carolina State and host team Penn State inside Rec Hall beginning at 4 p.m.
