BALTIMORE, Md. – Announced by The Daily Record,
Diane Richardson has been named one of Maryland's Top 100 Women.
Maryland's Top 100 Women recognizes high-achieving Maryland women who are making an impact through their leadership, community service and mentoring. Winners are selected by past Top 100 Women and business leaders.
The Head Coach of the Towson University women's basketball team joins other women from across the state who received the honor. This year is the 25th running of this award and includes women from all types of business including higher education, banking, medicine and the arts.
Richardson is the only collegiate basketball head coach on the list, boasting presidents of universities, CEO's and government officials.

Tim Leonard. "She is a tremendous leader and person not just in the state of Maryland, but also for our department, student-athletes, coaches and staff. She has taken Towson women's basketball to great heights and will continue run a championship-quality program."
Joining Richardson from colleges and universities are Heidi Anderson (University of Maryland Eastern Shore), Aminta Breaux, Ph.D. (Bowie State), Candace Dodson-Reed (UMBC), Susan dosReis (UMD School of Pharmacy), Sarah Guy (BEACON at Salisbury), Martha James-Hassan (Morgan State), Tenyo Pearl (Coppin Sate), Monica Walker (CCBC), Karsonya Wise Witehead (Loyola; WEAA) and Marylou Yam (Notre Dame).
