TOWSON, Md. – Announced this morning by Inside Lacrosse, Towson University women's lacrosse defender
Sami Chenoweth has been named to the Inside Lacrosse All-American Third Team.
Chenoweth, a senior during the shortened 2020 campaign, was sixth in the nation in caused turnovers per game, averaging 2.33. The Manchester, Maryland native made the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American Second Team and the Preseason All-CAA Team earlier this year.
This is her first postseason accolade and her second career All-American nod from Inside Lacrosse. Chenoweth was leading the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in caused turnovers per game.
Her career caused turnovers stand at 150 through 63 games. This season she started in all six games with 14 caused turnovers, 10 ground balls and four draw controls.
