TOWSON, Md. — The Towson University field hockey team will suit up one last time in the 2021 fall season to face Davidson on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 1 p.m.
The Halloween match up will also celebrate Senior Day and honor the seven graduating student-athletes, Pamela Abbott, Kasey Bubel, Elizabeth Harper, Beira Ho, Kathryn Parkinson and Lena Vandam.

Last Time Out
Last weekend the Tigers fell to both Northeastern (0-4) and Colgate (3-4).
The Huskies came out focused, registering 34 shots and 16 penalty corners throughout four quarters. Northeastern was also awarded two strokes and converted on both. Goalkeeper Lena Vandam amassed a game-high 18 saves in net while Kasey Bubel collected two defensive saves. Georgia Beachley led the offensive effort with two shots.
The Tigers then dropped a heartbreaking loss to Colgate on Sunday afternoon, 4-3. Mackenzie Tillman, Beachley and Paige Reese all found the back of the net for a season-high three goals. Vandam and her defense also collected 10 saves.
In The Rankings
With 13 defensive saves through 16 games, including three last weekend, Bubel paces both the conference and the NCAA in the stat. Beira Ho and Paige Reese also currently sit at fourth and fifth in the league and are tied for 21st in the nation with three stops.
Vandam remains a steady force in net, leading the CAA with 158 total saves. She is one of two keepers in the league to crack triple digits and leads her closest opposition by 42 stops. The graduate student's .786 save percentage bests the conference and ranks 11th in the nation. Vandam is averaging 9.88 saves per game to leads the league and rank second in the NCAA. With two shutouts, she is fourth in the category in the CAA.
Scouting The Wildcats
After losing 10 straight contests, Davidson won its most recent bout with Lock Haven, 2-1. The Wildcats also earned wins against Bellarmine (3-1) and Central Michigan (2-1) this season.
Izzy Moody, Natalie Naticchia and Anna Sharp have all started all 16 contests and scored three goals each. Moody has also added two assists to lead the team with eight points. In goal, Cato Roell has played the majority of the fall campaign, collecting 92 saves on 229 shots faced.
