TOWSON, Md. – Highlighted by two first-place victories in a quad meet, the Towson University gymnastics team finished with a final score of 193.700 on Friday night inside of SECU Arena.
The Tigers hosted UNC who finished with a score of 195.00, Pitt who finished with a 193.875 and LIU who finished with a score of 188.075.
Towson had running scores of 48.800 on vault, 47.950 on bars, 48.175 on beam and 48.775 on floor. They had the highest vault score of the night.
Nikki Borkowski earned the second annual George McGinty award at the end of the meet.
How it Happened
- Camille Vitoff finished in first-place on vault tying her season-high score of 9.850. Allison Zuhlke and Lauren Bolen tied for second with scores of 9.775.
- Vitoff also came in second place on bars scoring a season-high 9.825.
- Jenna Weitz finished in second on beam scoring a 9.850. Zuhlke came in fourth scoring a season-high score of 9.8.
- Borkowski won on floor with a score of 9.850. Paige Casper came in third scoring a 9.825.

"Going into this meet, we lost four athletes immediately before the meet", said Ramirez. "We knew it was going to be a struggle. We had some highlights with individuals soaring in their respective events. We are going to focus on hitting on Sunday to get a higher road score."

The Tigers travel to Williamsburg, Virginia on Sunday, February 21 for a dual meet against William & Mary. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. inside the Kaplan Arena.
