TOWSON, Md. – Baltimore native and 2020-21 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team member Terry Nolan Jr. has come back to Charm City and will suit up for the Towson University men's basketball team beginning in the 2021-22 season.
Earning his undergraduate degree from Bradley University with a 3.46 grade point average, the 6-foot-4, 190-lb guard will be pursuing a Master's Degree.

"Terry is a talented, competitive and versatile guard who brings a high level of energy and talent on both sides of the ball. He is a well-rounded, outstanding student-athlete and comes from a great family! His experiences at strong programs like Bradley in the Missouri Valley and George Washington in the Atlantic 10 will benefit us immediately. After unsuccessfully trying to recruit him in the past, I'm excited to finally have him join our Towson family."
This past year with Bradley, Nolan Jr. earned 11.2 points and 3.3 assists per game, being the team's leader in steals with 25. He earned 13 double digit scoring games and 35 three-point field goals during the year, earning the league's Scholar-Athlete Team recognition. He also earned game-winning shots near the buzzer in victories over Miami (Ohio) and Toledo and was a member of the Xavier Invitational All-Tournament Team and MVC Honor Roll.
Nolan was a two-year starter at George Washington University from 2017-19, finishing with a pair of 300+ point years, averaging 9.8 points per game. He was GW's top three-point shooter, being 35% from behind the perimeter as a sophomore.
Thus far in his collegiate career, Nolan Jr. has tallied 843 points, 304 rebounds, 204 assists and 105 steals.
He played high school ball at Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School, leading the Cougars to MIAA A Conference and Baltimore Catholic League tournament title appearances. The Baltimore Sun All-Metro selection finished with over 1,200 points in his high school career.
