Towson Women’s Lacrosse Ranked in All Three Polls

TOWSON, Md. – For the sixth consecutive week, the Towson University women's lacrosse team is in the Top 20 in the IWLCA Division I Coaches and U.S. Lacrosse Women's polls, released Monday, April 5. The Tigers are ranked No. 17 in both polls.
 
After being just outside of the Inside Lacrosse Media poll the previous two weeks, the Tigers return to the Top 20 at No. 18. Sonia LaMonica's squad has been as high as No. 11 in that poll this season.

Towson (7-2) is one of four Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in the rankings. Drexel (8-1) is No. 18 in the coaches, No. 14 in the media and No. 15 by U.S. Lacrosse. Elon (7-0) is No. 17 in the media and ranked No. 25 by the coaches. James Madison (5-3) is No. 24 in the coaches.

North Carolina (11-0) is the top ranked team in the nation for the ninth consecutive week, followed in all three polls by Northwestern (9-0) and Syracuse (6-1).
