Reeser Honored as All-CAA Second Team Relief Pitcher

TOWSON, Md. – One of the top relief pitchers in the league, Kody Reeser has been honored on the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) All-Conference Teams, announced on Tuesday.

Reeser was selected to the All-CAA Second Team, placing him as one of the top five relief pitchers in the league for the 2021 season.

The graduate student out of York Haven, Pennsylvania is the first Tiger to earn all-conference honors since 2018, when Richie Palacios was an All-CAA Second Team shortstop.  Reeser is also the first Towson pitcher to be an all-conference player since Michael Trionfo in 2012.

Reeser made 23 appearances this season, notching a team-best 1.94 ERA in 46.1 innings.  He holds a 4-5 record plus has a save, striking out 50 batters while surrendering only 10 walks.  Batters are hitting just .218 against him.  Reeser had 13 scoreless appearances plus four more with only one earned run.

The All-CAA and All-Rookie Teams were voted on by the league's head coaches.

Reeser and the Tigers are set to compete in the 2021 CAA Tournament, beginning tomorrow against Charleston at noon in Wilmington, North Carolina.
